Beginning Level – Getting Started with Oils!

Tuesday’s May 6 – June 10  | 9 am – 12 pm

This wonderful 6 week, 18-hour course is your gateway to the world of Oil Painting. It covers all the basics of painting with traditional oils for the beginner or for those who wish to get a solid refresher. Students will gain a good foundational working knowledge of equipment, supports, brush selection, brushwork, mixing color and mediums. The direct painting technique will be taught in making still life paintings without the use of solvents. Each lesson has demonstrations of the techniques with hands on experience. A 22 page workbook is included!
